Hi I’m Maddie Matheny, I’m a senior and have been involved for four years now. I enjoy producing and anchoring during the broadcasting portion of the month. I am also an editor for the paper and I really enjoy it. My favorite movie is Tangled and I have a dog named Flynn.

Hello! My name is Gianna Smith and I am a senior this year. I enjoy cooking and hanging out with my friends in my free time. I have a twin brother named Jacob, and a 9-year-old cat named scarlet. My favorite color is purple and I am currently leaning how to make sushi. I joined this class because I truly believe I can make a positive impact on Darby for my last year, and I can’t wait to see how great this newspaper and the announcements become!

Hello! My name is John Hartwell and I am a senior. I am involved in hockey and baseball and I also throw for the track team. I’m going to love being an anchor but am also going to love to be an editor. I’ve been doing journalism for a few years now but this is my first year in the class. I am a 4-year varsity athlete in my sports and I can juggle extremely well.

Hi I’m Bilal Trisnoadi, I’m a junior and I am involved in the Hilliard Darby Marching Band. This is my first year in journalism and I’m looking forward to being a video editor and at some point being an anchor for the announcements as well as just writing stories about stuff in general. I play a lot of percussion instruments,  and my phone password is 61 digits long (yes, you read that right). If you don’t believe me then I can show you it but with my luck, I would probably mess it up. 

Hi I’m Riley Messer, I currently work at Kroger and have been for over a year. I’m a junior and this is my second year participating in Journalism, I enjoy the actual journalism part of the class.

Hi my name is Lena Museitif, I’m a sophomore here at Darby. I’m involved in a lot of different clubs including Diversity club, Panther ambassador, Rock,
MSA, Key club, etc. This is my first year in journalism! During my free time, I love to go to the gym and go on walks. I also love hanging out with friends and family and one of my favorite fast food places is Bibibop.

Hi, there! My name is Sela Hennon, and I am a freshman. I am involved in 4-H (amongst many other things), where I am the President of my club. I get to do fun and informative projects, community service activities, leadership activities, and be a camp counselor! This is my first year in Journalism, and I love being able to write articles and express myself creatively. A fun fact about me is that I won my school’s Junior Spelling Bee when I was in third grade!
